When was the last time that I blogged? *Shrugs* I can't even remember. So i think it should be ages ago. Hands and fingers getting abit rusty on the keyboard. Words don't flow to me naturally as before. Seems abit hard for me to word out the stuffs that i wanna say. Or probably it is because too much had happened and I'm not sure where should I start. But I have to start somewhere as I do not want to abandon this blog. Oh well. So tolerate with me? Haha. I have started work at ****** for almost 2 months! Wow. Time passes real fast. Getting damn busy as more and more stuffs are thrown to my responsibilities. People eye-ing what a fresh graduate can do. Bosses expectation of what a fresh graduate can do.

Oh what the... To them, a fresh graduate seems to be able to do anything. A fresh graduate or rather a graduate seems to know everything. A graduate seems to be the cure for everything. People comparing a graduate to a non-graduate. I hate this kinda comparisons. I don't think a graduate is everything. No. But I still enjoy work and colleagues. Only a small portion of people that I dislike here. Most are friendly and nice. I made great friends regardless of age or gender. They are great people and they care for me. So I am glad about this.

I laugh almost everyday at work. No matter how stress I am, I still laugh because of them. We go out after work. We chat about different topics about our life about stuffs that are non-work related. We have potluck lunch, we sms each other, we are like friends. I cant imagine going to work without them. I thanks god for letting me meet great people.However, I wants to have a break. I missed the days of school. I miss the days of freedom to do anything. But well, life goes on no matter how one craves to go back. Life goes on no matter how one wishes to return to the past.. I should learn to be satisfied with what I have and not crave for more than what I already have. Yes. This is the way to go on with life.

BTW, there is this guy who is a consultant in ****** who looks quite cute. Haha. I'll get to see him on Monday again! eyecandy for me. It has been too long that I have an eyecandy in reality. ^^

Hello Everyone!!!

For the past 2 Friday Nights, I had been KTV-ing with my fun-loving colleagues at AMK KBOX. It was damn fun and enjoyable. A good way to release stress as well. BTW, I am here to say 'Hello' to anyone who is still reading my blog. I know I had not update in ages due to work, family and friendship commitment. Haha. Oh well~ Last Fri is actu my last day at Daily Farm. I know I had only started work for 3 months and now, I am leaving. But I think people who hear stories from me would be glad that I am leaving that place.

For the past 2 days, I had been enjoying myself. Doing things that I had not done for centuries. Lol. Today is the last day for me to rot and rot before I officially start work at new workplace tmr. I am joining some company (the place where I did internship) HR department. Yes! I am finally going to put one foot into the area of HR. Though happy abt that, I still cant help feeling abit nervous, scare and worried. I think I will have to adapt to a new working place, new colleagues and new environment all over again.

习惯是一件多么可怕的事. I missed crapping, lunching, laughing and whatever with Rouxin, Corinne and Joyce though I miss nothing abt the work environment, a woman nicknamed 'audience' and an unreasonable woman nicknamed 'avril'. I think Rouxin, Corinne and Joyce really made my life more happy while working for 2 complicated and unreasonable person.

Well~ Life has to keep moving on. Changes will always arise and there is nothing that can stop it. So i shall buck up and give all my best in anything that I do or in anywhere that I go. Hope to c my fun-loving colleagues now turn friends soon!

A memorable day - Aug 2nd . Sodagreen Concert .

Aug 2nd is a memorable day. Before we went into Max Pavilion, we bought sodagreen T-shirts. The design is just so kawaii!! And there is Qing Feng handwrite printing of '苏打绿' on it. I love this T. Concert started at 8.30pm. There were people who were calm thru' out the concert which I wonder why they even bother to come in the first place. But most of Sodagreen Fans were high.

We stood up and shake our body along with the music after the 1st song! Though it was tiring la. Lol. Oh but it was OMG. The live music that the band play, Qing Feng live singing - so NICE! This was the first time I attend an Indie Rock Band concert. It reminded me of Larcenciel concert though I have never been there to experience it before. But it is just that kinda feel that I like about concert. Music music and music. Shiok!

Not to say that Qing Feng is very good at jumping about and creating the very high atmosphere. I totally enjoyed it. And he could say super funnie stuffs during MC. I got a good laugh at what he said lo. Aniwae, time pass quickly and it was encore. We shouted loudly for them to appear again and they appeared 5 mins later. Everyone started running to the front. Cai Xiang and I grabbed each other and ran together. We managed to chop a good standing view. 2nd row, middle and directly in front of Qing Feng.

I could see him like really close up and can even sorta 'talk' to him. Haha. As usual, he is very nice to sing extra songs out of the original set list. He said that there are still quite a bit of extra time and so he could sing a few more songs. So we were like shouting all the different different songs that we wanted to listen to. In the end he pick out 5 songs to sing before he ended with the last last song that was in the set list. It was worth it to be able to stand so close to him and them to listen. He also talked to us (all of us who were standing right in front) and it was so funnie.

The concert ended at 11.45pm. When it ended, I knew I'm gonna miss this concert and I would like to go for their concert again! No matter it is at Singapore or Taiwan. Sigh. It was worth every cents of the money that I spent on the ticket. It was the best best concert that I went for. In terms of music, live singing, atmosphere - it was the best. However, I find the Taiwan concert had more interesting music/ stuffs in it (for e.g. Qing Feng playing the flute) and also alot of their famous songs that were sang in Taiwan but not Singapore.

Nonetheless, I'm still high and hyper over it. Good moments pass by real fast ya? Wonder when will I c them again live and standing right in front of me. It is just so enjoyable.

Life is getting abit meaningless. Or rather pointless. I woke up, I work, I eat, I travel home, I sleep. Every day, the same procedures will be carried out. I don't know why I work. I don't like my job. I don't like everything. I know I am just asking for too much. But for once, allow me to just complain, whine and write whatever that I like here.

It gets kinda scary when I wonder and ask myself - what do I want in life? Time passes by everyday w/o slowing down. But I am not moving forward at all. WORK and MONEY. Is that all I want? I can already start to feel that something is way too wrong. Something is moving away from me. Eversince I started working, things are changing. And they are not going in the direction that I wanted them to be. Almost no extra time is left for just me.

Just for me. Just enough for me to do some things that is just for me for my interest for my happiness. No. Totally no. Yes. Some things are moving away. Running away. At the end of the race, it will totally disappear from my life. And what will I be left with? Emptiness that seems to be eating away bits and pieces of my body everyday. Until one fine day, I will just be left with a empty body doing things that are against my will.

LIFE. What is it? Can I control it? It just seems too complicated for my simple brain to think. For my simple mind to walk through the mist and find the answer. For a simple me who just wants a simple life to function simply. I'm complicating complicated life making it even more complicated. I am entangled in it. I can't released myself from the knots that I created. That others created for me. Sigh.

小王子的唱腔一直在变
这也不是一天两天的事
从 PK 至今他每隔一段时期
唱腔就会有新的突破
有时候会不习惯
但大多时候是喜爱很爱

也只有实力坚强 talented 的
才能够以不同的唱腔唱法
来诠释不同的歌曲
帮每一首歌注入不一样的生命力
试想如果小王子一直以他
那种浑厚扎实的唱法来诠释专辑里的 11 首歌
你会不会觉得有种‘好腻哦’的 feel 呢？

那种浑厚的嗓音固然好听
但听多了每首都这样唱
其实会造成听觉上的负担
而且每首都会失去它应有的特色
因为不管怎么听都一样
不是吗？

况且小王子一直以来都是唱现场
所以专辑以前
没人听过他的声音在经过录音师的修剪过后
会变成什么样子
因此当专辑出现后
大家都会觉得
‘怎么小王子的爆发力不见了！’
的惊吓难过失望

但是你是真正的喜欢他喜欢音乐吗？
如果是你就不会犯下这种
‘认为改变新的尝试是错的’ 的想法
还有你有细听专辑里的每一首歌
他是怎么用不同的技巧感情以声音
来付诸于那首歌的意境吗？

而且真正能唱的会唱的
通常都会有
‘现场的 live 唱得比专辑里好听’ 的现象
就像听青峰唱 live 之后
会惊觉他的声音
原来是那么充满爆发力与张力
听了现场再听专辑
这个时候我就会深刻的感受到
什么叫做天然之别
脑海里顿时浮出 ‘听专辑很不过瘾啊！’的 feel

所以我说
在没细听小王子的专辑之前
也还没听过他现场诠释新歌之前
请不要下任何的判断好吗？
因为我听过我能肯定的说
他最有特色的爆发力还在
而且比以前更好更稳定

不论对他的专辑有什么看法
请听后才判断这样才公平好吗？

Sodagreen Autograph Session

On Thurs 19th June, Cai Xiang and I went to Sodagreen Autograph Session. It was a worth trip to rush down from work just to c them. Or rather listen to them - their music. We were standing in the 3rd row center and thus could c them up close. Alright, not realli close but ya..u get what I meant. Lol. The session should originally starts at 7pm but they were here at 6.40pm!

They started with rehearsals and we could hear any songs that we wanted to hear. After tuning and making sure that their musical instruments were alright (can c their professionalism in this), the singing session officially started. Qing Feng sang 1) Xiao Yu Zhou -a rock and high song with rythemic music 2) Pei Wo Ge Chang 3) Zhe Tian and 4) Pin Lu. OMG. Pin Lu is my favourite song lor!!

And I get to hear it live right in front of my eyes. The last part, the high pitch was like omg. I could realli melt in it. It was just so enjoyable listening to him sing and listening to sodagreen music. There is nothing more that I need to say about how special their music is as I tot I wrote quite a lot about it here in the previous many entries. Lol.

They were very nice to sing extra two more songs which were not suppose to be in the set list. But they are just a bunch of young people who love music and dont mind sharing more of it with fans that were so in love with their music as well. Plus I must say they have the skills and talent to do so. Which singer who cant even sing live dares to do such act?

Moreover, Sodagreen allowed us to select songs that we wanted to hear. And that means they cant predict what songs to sing and be prepared for it before the session. Yes. They are just so talented. I'm realli falling head over toes with them. Oh and I learnt that Qing Feng was actu sick sore throat. So wow sick and he can still sing like he was in perfect condition. Ahhh! That is like so OMG. LOL. Also, the pianist+volinist la, the bassist la, guitarist and drummer la - they are all talented too!

Then we went on stage to have our concert tickets signed by them. Qing Feng realised that my tickets were the most expensive one. And he said '哇你的位子很前面'. Then smiled a very cute smile. Haha. I said '因为很喜欢你们的音乐, 所以很期待演唱会'. After that he shaked my hands very very very very tightly that I could feel pain lor. Then he did replied me something which I couldnt catch cos it was kinda noisy. Lol. I'm a happy fangirl then. Keke. Some photos that I took before Qing Feng asked us to not take photos during the session.

Cai Xiang had her side of story which was nice too. But I shall not talk about that here. Shall let her describe herself. Now we are so looking forward to the concert. It is going to be 3.5 hours long and prolly mite extend to 12 am if we encore a few times. I'm sure it is going to be a worthwhile concert. I dont regret purchasing the most exp tickets. And we are planning to have a Sodagreen KTV session in anticipation of the concert 1 week before the concert day. That will be fun. I am sure.

Okie. Happy post, happy memories, happy future. But tmr is the start of another week of boring work. I realli dun like the work environment. Nonetheless, I shall ganbatte and not let such unhappy moments get into me. When such times come and I feel sad, I will listen to sodagreen music which will make me happy and motivated. :)

This is something that I wrote in my chinese blog. Eh Yes... I have another blog which I wrote everything in chinese. It is a place that I wrote some reflections of life and some things that I observe. But this is the latest entry that I wrote. Tot that it is an impt observation made by me of the people ard me and own experiences. Sometimes, people are just so irritating that I feel like the world sld crash down on them.

Extremely rockish. I will nod my head along with the music whenever I listen to it. This is the Jam that I know. The kinda song that he should sing. OMG. Anione who love rock will love this.

OMG. I'm in love with this song. 王子的新衣. Super Rock and Super him. His voice damn power. His high pitch damn good. I can't wait to get his album. Shit. I realli love him to bits. This is a song that will cause me to shake my body along with the music. And his live singing cannot be compared to listening to the CD version. If his cd version quality is 100%, then his live singing will be 150%. Allow me to scream for him. Ahhh! Lol.

Besides not getting a job.. unemployed and bankrupt, there are quite a couple of joyful stuffs that I would like to share here. I have been craving for Sodagreen concert eversince I downloaded their latest album which was a LIVE version of songs that they sang in Xiao Ju Dan last year. I was telling Kasan - if Sodagreen comes Singapore for concert, I'll definitely go. That was a week ago.

On Wed, Cai Xiang and I went for KTV. I selected lotsa Sodagreen songs to sing and watched the MV. We were telling each other if Sodagreen comes for a concert, we must go together. Until then, it was just a IF. Considering that Sodagreen had already held a concert in Singapore last year, it wun be soon that there will be another one this year.

Next day which was thur, I'm preparing to go Bugis with Kasan for GSS shopping. While preparing, we were listening to FM 93.3. Suddenly, the DJ said that he had some good news about Sodagreen. Feeling curious, I decided to sit in front of the radio and waited for the news. After 2 songs, the DJ was finally back. He said 'Sodagreen is coming to Singapore on Aug 2nd for a concert'.

I just screamed there and there. Lol. I was shouting to Kasan 'Ahh! Sodagreen coming for concert! I wanna watch!' The next thing I did was to SMS Cai Xiang though I know she was still sleeping and no doubt that she will only read the SMS in the afternoon. Haha. I just felt like this is a dream comes true or something. Lol. Aniwae, discussed the details with Cai Xiang over the phone in the afternoon and I bought 2 tickets $148 each on that day at Bugis sistic counter.

Excited. It is just so coincidence. I was thinking of watching and then they are coming! Keke. Oh well. Another thing that I'm happy about is Jam. The date of his album release is nearing! Recently, there are so much news and video on him. He looked so cute. Keke. And he will be in Yu Le Bai Fen Bai on June 3rd and 10th. Yeah! Cant wait to see how Xiao Zhu will tease him. Confirm damn funnie de lo. Haha. Okie. Shall stop here. I will continue taipei trip stories in the next few entries. ^^

Still mad when I thought about it .

To think that I am still mad about it after so many days, this organisation is really a fucking asshole one. Yes. That organisation that asked me to go for medical screening and yet they screwed up my screening results. And so they thought I failed the screening. Didnt call to reconfirm with me whether I knew about the screening results.

I called them 2 weeks later to ask about it. A lady said that the person-in-charge was out of town. I waited for another week. She finally called me to inform that I failed the screening (implying that was the reason why they didnt call to offer me the position animore). Fuck. I think if I remembered correctly, I was sick for the first screening and I was told to go down again for a 2nd one 2 days later. Cos being sick caused my heartbeat to be beating at an abnormal speed.

And I went for a 2nd one, again I remembered the medical officer congratulating me that I passed. Heartbeat was normal. So now she told me that I failed? WTF. After telling her that I went for a 2nd one and I think I passed. She said 'Oh! When did you went for a 2nd screening? Our record didnt show us that you went for a 2nd one?' I replied in a sarcastic tone 'Yes I did. I went on 25 Arp and the medical officer said I passed.'

Then she said 'Oh I will go check. This is nothing big. BTW, we are offering you another position - recruitment executive instead of HR officer? Would you like to come down for a job briefing and c if you are comfortable with the job scope?' I decided to go down and c what they gotta say about the original position that I applied for. Under what condition do they have the rights to ask me to go for medical screening when the original position that I applied for wasnt offer to me. Obviously, they had offered the original position to someone esle after 'thinking' that I failed the medical checkup. Fuck.

Went down and the lady said it was actu job briefing and a mini interview. I'm already pissed. Cos she didnt tell me that there will be a mini interview during the phone conversation. And a mini interview lasted for 45 minutes. Oh how mini is that huh? Asshole. So now I will have to start all over again - going thru interviews and waiting for weeks to c if I will be accepted. Hell lot of shit.

Most importantly, it was not a position that I wanted. Wow. A fucking screw up by them and I lost the job that I had wanted. It was like 'getting my hopes high and crash it within seconds'. I had the urge to cry there and there. Why is it that I am so suay. Now everyone is getting a job but ME. Cos of a fucking asshole. I am angry. Really mad. I had to start all over again. Wasted my time for the medical checkup. Wasted my time to go down for interviews for the initial position that I wanted. Fucking irritating.

And the lady that interviewed me keep asking why I am willing to come down for this position interview when I had mentioned previously that I prefered HR Officer over Recruitment Executive. What did she want me to say? Oh cos u all screwed up the medical checkup, I lost the job that I had wanted initially and now I am left with no choices? Fuck. Ask me vague scenerio questions that has no details and still expect me to give complicated answers? Crap. Asshole again.

Sharon is really suay. Suay-est among the suay people. That is how suay I am. I dont think anione will encounter such incident other than me. Life is piece of shit. Life shucks. Whenever I think of it, I get agitated. No matter how many days had passed, I am still mad. Had to force myself to think of happy moments. But when this incident fights itself into my brain into my conciousness, I cant help but think that life is shit for me to meet such assholes.

Taipei 2nd Trip - Danshui Shopping. Snacks .

So off we went to shop along the Danshui Street. Most of the shops were opened by then which was great. There were lots of local snacks over there and we were so happily buying almost all of them. We bought sour plums, fish chips, tie-dan, almond powder, niu rou gan and many more that I cannot recall now. Keke. Oh and at our first stop, we bought this custard cake which was damn yummy. ^^

Guess what is in the box? Yes. It contained the custard cake that we bought. It was so nice lor. The custard was delicious. When I bite into the cake, the custard will 'splash' into the mouth. And it was not too sweet. I love it! I'm one who love custard bread and so this custard cake really suits me. Lol.

Tada~~ This was how the custard cake looked like. It actu had 6 in a box but I onli remembered to take photo of it after eating 4. Lol. If I remembered correctly, the custard cakes did not cost alot. I thought it was cheap. Keke. Aniwae we carried on shopping and I bought a pretti cap at a shop for just NT100 which was like $4.50 lor. Worth it! And I bought lotsa hairclips too. After walking for an hour plus, we started to look for food to fill our hungry stomach. :)

Pls allow me to scream hor. OMG OMG OMG OMG! Jam Hsiao first album is finally going to be out on June 16. Yeah! After waiting for so long having him pushing the album from April to May and then June, I am just so excited. I heard that the songs are damn nice. Of cos, he took nearly 9 months to make it lo. And Cao Ge, F.I.R, Xiao Yu, Su Da lu, May Day - Ah Xing, Wei Song and many more wrote songs for him.

Plus he wrote songs for himself. It is slow rock. Aiyo. My favourite ok! So I am definitely looking forward to hearing it. Oh. I am also excited to hear the song that Qing Feng (Su Da Lu lead singer) wrote for him too. Cos I downloaded Su Da Lu Live Concert CD yesterday and I really like it. His live was damn nice. His 'Zhuang Ying' was superd. And his Dolphin Sound (Hai Tun Ying) was omg. Perfect.

His latest new song is nice too. I like the songs that he wrote. Not commercial like what other singers are doing. He has his own unique style. Aniwae, I am abit diverse from the topic. See the userpic of mine in this entry? Yes. It is Jam new album cover. Eto ne. He looks damn cute in this. But for an album cover, I thought it looks too 'idol'. As in, he is supposed to be rockish.

Moreover, he is a singer not an idol. He can sing perfectly well for his album to sell. So why an 'idol' looking album cover? I was expecting some abstract-design for the cover. Something like Larcenciel albums. Lol. Alright, prolly it is because this is Jam first album and Warner is kinda walking on the safe side. I just hope that he wun go the commercial direction. There are just too many singers who are going commercial.

可是，我还是会支持他. 好期待专辑里的歌. 敬腾的心血与声音都在里面.

Taipei 2nd Trip - At Danshui .

We reached Danshui at 12.30pm. Prolly cos it was raining for the whole morning (the rain had just stopped), thus the streets were kinda quiet with a few tourist strolling along Danshui Sea. But I did not mind the quietness. I still remember last year when I came to Danshui, it was so noisy and crowded. As it was still early for all the shops to be opened, we decided to spend our time taking photos - as usual. Lol.

We walked along the streets and saw different kinda birds. And we saw fishes jumping out of the water and then into the water again. Lol. Somehow I love the quiet atmopshere. Relaxing I would say. ^^

Taipei 2nd Trip - After Hot Spring . Spring City Resort Lobby .

We gotta wait at the lobby for the shuttle bus to bring us back to Beitou Station. We were planning to go Danshui after Hot Spring. It was still drizzling outside. All we can do was pray for the rain to stop or at least not get any heavier. Aniwae, the receptionist was nice. She arranged a 12pm shuttle bus for us. So while waiting at the lobby for the bus, we took photos again. Lol.

The view outside the lobby was pretti too. There was a small garden. Although it was drizzling, we just went ahead with taking photos outside w/o any shelther. Keke. Oh well. After outdoor photo shooting, we went indoor for more shooting. Lol.

Tousan face was red from Hot Spring! Prolly the water was too hot for him. *shrugs* The shuttle bus arrived at 12pm and we got on the bus. Reach Beitou Station around 12.15pm and we board the train to Danshui. And we felt sleepy while on train. Lol. I think that is the effect of Hot Spring. It will make us so comfortable that we just want to sleep. ^^

I wanted to blog about Taipei Trip but I thought that I should write about this first.. Recently, 512 China Earthquake news had been all over the newspaper, TV and radio. Hearing the stories about how a mum protect her child, how a teacher managed to save 4 students with her own body and how those frontline helpers went forward to give them a helping hand, it was just so touching and sad.

Now we are here in Singapore. Safe from natural disasters. No matter how bad we think our circumstances are - regardless of us not having what we want, us facing relationship problems - all these are not as bad as what the people at Si Chuan are facing now. Wo Men Shi Xin Fu De. Thus, we gotta help them. It is just so easy to make donations. For me, I went to DBS ibanking. A 3 minutes procedures and we are done. A small gesture can mean alot to them.

Taipei 2nd Trip - Spring City Resort. Hot Spring .

We arrived at Beitou Station around 9.40am. I had much difficulties finding the shuttle bus waiting area. I read online that the stand was at the left of the station. In the end, it was at the right. Lol. Since it was still early, we settled down at a bench in front of the waiting area. The morning wind was cold!! Though it was not raining, the sky did not look convincing. In the end, at ard 10am, it started to drizzle. But the drizzle did not turn into heavy rain. Heng arh! Keke.

The bus was on time and we reached Spring City Resort at 10.35am. Omg. It was a damn pretti place. Much nicer than the hotspring that I went to last year. Prolly cos this resort was situated higher up the mountain and more isolated. Thus, the scenery was beautiful. Service was great as well. Private Hotspring cost NT600 per person. Not expensive at all. So Dad had his own room while Kasan and I shared a room. Excited!

The room was not as big as the one at Pacific Wellness. But it was still ok for me. We started to fill the 'tub' with Hot Spring Water and Cold Water. We sorta took a mini shower and drank abit of water before entering the hot spring. The moment I stepped in, I fell in love with it. It was so super relaxing and comfortable lor. Especially in such cold weather, hot spring warms up the body and oh it was just so shuang. Lol.

Took photos while in Hot Spring. Keke. It started to rain heavily when we were enjoying hotspring. We could hear the rain drops splattering on the window panes. But it was actually quite nice to hear the rain while dipping in the hot spring at the same time. Kimochi!!!

After soaking, we took a shower and changed. Since there was still 3 minutes left before time -up, I took a photo in the room standing on the steps. Keke. Oh and there was hot chinese tea available at the lobby for us to drink. It was said to be good for the throat. I love the tea. Nice fragrant. Aniwae, Kasan was in love with Hot Spring. Initially, she was still abit apprehensve about it. Lol.

After a satisfying breakfast, we went to the receptionist to ask about our Jiu Fen 1/2 day tour. It cost about NT1100 per person. Not cheap but I thought it was reasonable. Demo it had been raining non-stop since Monday and it was not advisable to go Jiu Fen in such weather. Sigh. Why is it always so difficult for me to go Jiu Fen arh? Lol Oh well. Looking at the bright side, I will have one more extra day for shopping! :)

As the time was still early, we decided to take some photos at the hotel lobby. Keke. The service was so good. While we were relaxing at the lobby, the door man served us coffee and water without us asking for it. Such a nice and warm gesture. I think Fullerton will always be the choice of stay whenever I'm in Taipei. Lol. Aniwae, around 9am we left the hotel for Beitou Hotspring. I planned to catch the 10.10am shuttle bus from Beitou Station. ^^

Open my eyes and realised that the sun was up. Room was bright as if it was already 8am in the morning. Take note of the word 'as if'. Thinking that I had overslept, I grabbed my mobile phone to look at the time. Ooh! It was only 5 am. Faint. Aniwae, Kasan also woke up around the same time as me. So we both chit-chatted till around 6.30am before we went to have a morning shower.

After showering, blowing hair, make-up, we were ready to change and proceed for breakfast. I'm deciding between wearing tights or not cos of the cold weather. It was still drizzling in the morning. Keke. In the end, I wore tights, shorts, t-shirt, jacket and scarf. Imagine a walking Ba Zhang. Lol. At around 7.50am, we went down for our very first breakfast in Taipei and in Fullerton.

The breakfast at Fullerton North was okie. I would say it was average. Not alot of varieties but still enjoyable. The porridge was good. And I love the pork wrapped in cabbage. Keke. However, if I were to compare the breakfast with Fullerton South, I would still prefer South Breakfast. More varieties and food were more suited for young people like me! Haha.

So after we finished cam-whoring, we started to indulge in the food. Probably it was cold and thus, we were all super hungry despite the heavy dinner + supper that we had last night. Keke. And we were looking forward to hotspring after breakfast. Yeah! The previous time that I went for hotspring, it was in summer and the weather was blazing hot. This time it was cold 18 degree celsius! What a nice weather for hotspring. Of cos if it did not drizzle, it will be much better. ^^

Taipei 2nd Trip - Back to Hotel . Shilin Food Supper .

We left Shilin at around 9 plus and reach the hotel at 9.40pm. Though we craved for a nice, hot and warm shower in such cold weather, we decided to settle down for food first as it was already late in the night. Aniwae, there were lotsa snacks that we bought - Chong Zua Bing, Barbeque snacks, Duck Tongue, Shui Jian Bao, Da Ji Pai, Chong You Bing, Da Chang Bao Xiao Chang, Rock Melon and Strawberry.

The first picture - Chong You Bing is a kinda snack that has 'Chong' as the filling. We can chose to have egg or not and mine had egg. If you want egg, the uncle will crack the egg and then place the Chong You Bing on top of it. Erm. I thought this one tasted normal. Nothing fantastic. Lol. The Chong Zua Bing was good though. It tasted like our local roti prata. But this one is 'Chong' Roti Prata. The 'Chong' and Prata combination was special and it was YUMMY!

Barbeque Snacks and Ya She Tou

This did not look good but the taste was good. Lol. We had BBQ Ji Pi Gu (Chicken Backside), Vegetable wrapped in Pork Slices and Zhu Xue Gao (Pig Blood Rice Cake). We also had Ru Wei - Ya She Tou (Braised Duck Tongue). I love the Ji Pi Gu and Ya She Tou most. Zhu Xue Gao was good too. Tasted abit like Ba Zhang (dumpling). Lol.

Da Chang Bao Xiao Chang

Ooh! I believed this one looked delicious even without eating it right? I love this manz. At first I though Da Chang Bao Xiao Chang is really just Small Sausage wrapped in Big Sausage. But it is not! Lol. The brown color sausage was realli sausage la. But the beige colour one was actually made of glutinous rice. So when I bite the Da Chang Bao Xiao Chang, the glutinous rice and sausage will mixed together and omg it was damn oishii!

The Shui Jian Bao is steam bao with Cabbage as fillings. The cabbage was sweet and crispy. Too bad it was already cold when we started eating. I think it will taste much better when it is hot. Next is the Hao Da Da Ji Pai. Delicious. Cheap. Big. Crispy. 10 times nicer than what was sold in Singapore. So do I still need to say more? Lol. I seriously regretted not going back to Shilin for the Ji Pai again.

After having all these oily food, we had some fruits which we bought at ShiLin as well. Rock Melon and Strawberries. Fruits at Taipei are damn sweet and juicy. Esp the strawberries. YUM YUM. Aniwae, we took turn to bath before we went to bed for rest and enjoy Taiwan variety shows. Alright. End of Day 1 of our trip. Day 2 will start with Beitou Hotspring! :)

In the end, I did not have lunch. Lol. Aniwae, after having dessert we saw this stall selling Barbeque Food. They had Zhu Xue Gao (Pig Blood Rice Cake), Ji Pi Gu (Chicken Backside), Vegetables wrap in Pork, Dou Gan and many more! Oh! There was also Da Chang Bao Xiao Chang. And this Barbeque Stall was supposedly famous as it was recommended in this Taiwanese Show that I watched in Singapore. ^^

We bought Zhu Xue Gao, Ji Pi Gu, Vegetables wrap in Pork Slices and Da Chang Bao Xiao Chang. Cos we were already full from the Fried Oyster, Yao Shan Pai Gu etc that we ate just now, we decided to bring these snacks back to hotel as supper. Fattening - I know. Lol. Then, we happened to see the famous Hao Da Da Ji Pai Stall just as we were leaving the food area. Yeah!

The stall stated that its Da Ji Pai must be eaten as a whole. The uncle will not cut for you. And it was realli OOKI (big). It only cost NT50 lor. That is like only $2.30 in Singapore. Similarly, we decided to bring it back to hotel for supper. We were so ready to proceed to the Shilin Shopping and Snacks area after that. BTW, I bought two hair clips at low price before we left the food area. Keke.

Shopping at Shilin was great too. There were stalls selling fruits and snacks in between fashion stores. So it was nice looking at clothes, accessories and bags while buying snacks at the same time. All the snacks that we bought there were meant for supper as well. Kasan bought a necklace and a pair of earring for me at this accessory shop. Of cos, the price was reasonable and cheaper than Singapore.

Oh! And I saw Hang Ten at Shilin. The Hang Ten at Taipei damn stylish can. Lol. The Hang Ten in Singapore looks so 'auntie' and ugly. Realli different kinda style lo. Haha. I bought a Top over there and I seriously love it. It is fake 3 layered-top. As in it looks like I'm wearing 3 tops (one over another) but actually it is only one single piece. Black in colour and looks damn rockish.

Too bad it was drizzling non-stop and we had to carry our umbrellas, looked out for puddles of water and looked at the stalls selling all kinda stuffs at the same time. Actually after walking for a while, I kinda gave up on my slippers and feet. Cos both slippers and feet were already soaked in puddles of rain water for several times that I decided to just walk w/o looking out for puddles animore. -.-

As mentioned, we went over to the other stall opposite the Fried Oyster stall for more food. I read somewhere online that the Yao Shan Pai Gu and Ya Xue at Shilin were delicious. Hence, I was excited when I found the stall selling them. Lol. Moreover since the weather was so cold, it would be great to have a bowl of hot Yao Shan Pai Gu Soup! So we ordered 1 bowl of Pai Gu and 1 bowl of Ya Xue Tung Fen. Keke.

Oh! I'm going to give this Yao Shan Pai Gu a 10/10. The Pai Gu was just nice. Not too hard and not too nuah (too soft). The soup was really YUMMY. The Yao Shan (Tonic) was really fragrant and the soup was very tonic. Seriously, I ran out of words to describe it. Given that it was served hot, it added a lot of points to the level of delicious-ness.

Ya Xue Tung Fen

Ya Xue is Duck Blood, just in case no one knows what is it actually. Lol. Same as Pig Blood but I find that Duck Blood taste much better. It did not have any weird smell. One of my favourite dishes in ShiLin. Plus when I ate the Ya Xue together with the Golden Mushrooms and Tung Fen, it was fabulous. And after that, drink abit of the soup. Omg. Fantastic. Keke.

I am drinking Honey Dew Fruit Juice. It was damn nice. In Singapore, stall owners usually add some sweeterner into the juice to make it sweeter and tastier. So the taste of the juice will be kinda fake. And there will be 'Zha' in the juice. This fruit juice that I had at Shilin was really fresh from Honey Dew. There was no sweeterner added to it. It was very original. The first mouthful of it already got me addicted. ^^

The Da Bing Bao Xiao Bing was not very nice. It was kinda tasteless. Like only eating Po Piah Skin. Haha. Prolly I went to the wrong stall or maybe the food itself was not suppose to be nice. Then, we had Ai Yu Bing (Ice Jelly) for dessert. Basically, it was nice la but I thought that there was too much ice in it and the ice was really too in big cubes. Lol. Ok. I'll stopped here. Taipei 2nd Trip - SoGo . Shilin Night Market - Ichiban .

After resting for a short while in the hotel room, we took the metro to Zhong Xiao Fu Xing Station where SOGO was located. Cos it was raining quite heavily and cold, SOGO was the best place that I can think of to spend our time. The shoes were super pretty though expensive. One pair of shoe cost at least $100. So I can looked and touched but cannot buy. Lol.

Since most of the merchandises at SOGO cost a bomb, we decided to go to the basement in search for some Taiwanese snacks that we could bring home. Bought lotsa snacks there - Niu Rou Gan, Pineapple Tarts, Sweet Potato kinda snacks, Mochi, Dou Gan etc. One big bag of snacks! Kasan even bought Taiwanese Red Beans. Is those raw and uncook red beans lo. Aniwae, we went to Shilin Night Market after that.

ShiLin Night Market - Food Area

This food area was sheltered. At Shilin, they had an area for food and another area for shopping and snacks. And though it was raining, all the stores were opened and it was quite vibrant but not as crowded as during weekends. So it was just nice for me. Dont have to squeeze thru' the crowds trying to get a glimpse of the stores. Keke. Kasan bought the famous Gu Zao Wei Almond Peanut Snacks at Shilin. 5 packets! And the nice auntie gave us 2 small packets for free. ^^

'Zhuang Jiao Yu Dao Ai' Fried Oyster Store

Remember the 'Xiao Zhu' and 'Da S' Ou Xiang Ju - Zhuang Jiao Yu Dao Ai? In the drama, Xiao Zhu was a Fried Oyster Cook at Shilin Night Market. Yes. This is the stall that Xiao Zhu learnt his fried oyster from. Beside that, it was also recommended by many other Taiwanese Food Shows. As we were excited to taste the fried oyster, we decided to settle down at this stall for food. We were damn hungry in the cold weather. ^^

We ordered 3 dishes. Fried Oyster was good. I didnt ate the oyster cos I'm afraid that I will get gastric as I'm overseas. Kasan ate it and said the oyster was fresh, fat and juicy. It was delicious but somehow the taste was not the same as Singapore Fried Oyster. But I like both. Each had their own specialties. But if you prefer more egg, then Taiwanese style will be better. Keke.

We had Ruo Yuan as well. The Ruo Yuan was something like our Shun Kuai. The Ruo Yuan had 'Shun' and 'Pork' fillings. I love the taste of Ruo Yuan! The Sheng Chao Hua Zhi was tasty too. I like the soup base. Very light but yet sweet. And the squid very Q but not hard. Can bite once and it will break into half. Get what I mean? Lol. In the soup, it also had cuttlefish and Shun. Yummy!

After this store, we walked over to the stall opposite for Yao Shan Pai Gu and Ya Xue Dong Fen. I'll talk about that in the next entry then. This is Part 1 and I think there will be 3 parts for Shilin. Cos there were lotsa food that I ate at Shilin. Lol.

Taipei 2nd Trip - On board the plane . Descending . Landing .

While on board the plane, I tried to catch a nap but to no avail. Haha. Prolly I'm too excited or I'm too nervous on the plane. Plus I am getting stiff neck from sitting too long. So I decided to just close my eyes and relax. 1 hour pass by and I'm glad that the plane will be landing soon. It was slowly descending and I could feel my ears being block. It was not a nice feeling to have your ears block. Lol.

Around 1.10pm, the plane landed and I am relieved. This time, there were little turbulences and so the flight landed earlier than scheduled. Last year, the SQ that I took only landed at 1.30pm. BTW, an Eva Air plane also landed beside us. There were Hello Kitty decorations on the plane. Kawaii ne!! Decided to take a photo of it cos it was just too cute to resist. Keke.

Aniwae, we could not alight from the plane cos the power went off just when the plane had landed and stopped. So there were no lights in the cabin and the door couldnt be opened. Ooh. I'm just thankful that the power went off after the plane had landed and not during the flight in the middle of no where hanging in the air. Or when the plane was landing. After 10 minutes, the power was back and we could alight.

Taipei was cold! The weather on Sunday was sunny 31 degree celsius and on Monday it changed to 18 degree celsius. It was windy and drizzling! We were all shivering all the way till we reach the hotel. Took Kuo Kuang Bus from the Airport to Taipei Main Station and then took a taxi to Fullerton North. The hotel service was warm and nice. Felt like I was home.
